Move over, Hidden Valley®, there’s a new ranch in town! Now you can make your own ranch seasoning packets, without pesky chemicals and other yukky ingredients, for just pennies on the dollar, in about 5 minutes. Use them in ranch potatoes, ranch bread, buffalo ranch chicken casserole, slow cooker ranch pork, and more!

Servings : 16 packets
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup onion powder
- 1/2 cup dried chives
- 1/2 cup dried parsley
- 1/2 cup dried dill
- 2 Tbsp salt
- 1 Tbsp pepper
- 16 snack sized zip top bags
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients and divide evenly among the sixteen bags. Seal and store just as you would any dry seasonings. Use in place of commercially available dry ranch seasoning packets in your favorite recipes.
Notes
Note: you can skip the step of dividing into bags, and store in one sandwich sized bag or in a sealable jar if you don't need them to be individual packets. Approximately 2 tablespoons seasoning mix equals one packet.
To make Ranch Salad Dressing, mix 2 tablespoons seasoning mix with 3 tablespoons plain yogurt (greek preferred) and 5 tablespoons milk or buttermilk.
To make Ranch Dip, mix 2 tablespoons seasoning mix with 16 oz sour cream. Refrigerate 1 hour or longer for best results.
