We originally just had the recipe as part of our “Healthy Beef Enchiladas“, but we decided to break it out into it’s own recipe so you can use it with other things easier.
Ingredients
Enchilada Sauce
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp 100% whole wheat flour or whole grain gluten free flour
- 4 Tbsp Chili Powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 2 cup vegetable broth no sugar listed in ingredients, see notes
Instructions
Enchilada Sauce
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Whisk in flour until smooth. Slowly stir in broth, whisking constantly. Stir in seasonings until smooth.
