100% green tier healthy cheddar cheese popcorn: enough said
Check out the notes section to make sure you get the right ingredients! Want regular popcorn? Try THIS RECIPE.

Servings : 5
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp coconut oil
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels unpopped
- 1 box Annie's® Mac-n-Cheese cheese packet
Instructions
- Heat oil and 3 kernels in a large pot, covered, over high heat. When kernels pop, add remaining kernels and replace cover. Move pan back and forth over the heat to coat the kernels in the hot oil. Let cook 2-3 minutes or until popping slows to 1-2 seconds between pops. Dump kernels into a paper grocery bag.
- Remove cheese packet from the box of Annie's® mac and cheese. Reserve pasta for another use (see notes). Sprinkle cheese over popcorn. (Start with a half a bag.) Close bag and shake. Taste popcorn. If needed, add more cheese from the bag, to taste.
Notes
It's relevant to note that the cheese mix we used contained: organic cultured pasteurized milk, salt, non-animal enzymes, organic whey, salt, and sodium phosphate. The product you choose might be different but as long as all the ingredients are green tier, it's ok. We also chose a whole grain Annie's® so that the pasta we reserved for later use would be green tier.

I’ve tried the popcorn. Will have to try it with the cheese packets next.
