Healthy berries, loaded with antioxidants and vitamins and fiber, sweetness countered with just a splash of lime juice, and optional honey for just a twinge more sweet all combine in a lovely bowl of goodness I’m calling Fresh Berry Salad.
I couldn’t decide if I wanted to call this “Fresh Berry Salad” or “Summer Berry Salad”. The Summer Berry Salad was tempting, because it’s July 1 as I write this, there’s summer everywhere I look, and nothing says summer like the deep reds and dark blues of fresh berries. But, in the end, I went with Fresh Berry Salad because, honestly, fresh berries are pretty easily available year ’round and even really inexpensive during some non-summer seasons. So if it’s summer when you read this, enjoy your summery berry salad! If not, don’t let the lack of summer sun detract from the gorgeousness of this recipe.

I think the colors in a bowl of berries like this is one of my favorite things! You could also consider making this with some coconut whipped cream.
