It’s buffalo! It’s chicken! It’s pasta! You’ve got the best of all worlds with this creamy buffalo chicken pasta recipe, which is mild enough for the kids and buffalo-ey enough for the grown up appetites (though you may want to add a bit more sauce).

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 3 cups Chicken broth no sugar listed in ingredients
- 1/2 cup clean buffalo sauce no sugar listed in ingredients, see notes
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried chives
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp dried dill
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp celery salt
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 lb 100% whole wheat linguine
- 1/4 cup cilantro chopped, for garnish, optional
Instructions
To Cook Immediately (slow cooker)
- Add chicken, broth, ¼ cup buffalo sauce, and seasonings to slow cooker. Top with both cheeses. Cook on high 4 hours or low 8 hours. Remove chicken; shred with two forks or in stand mixer fitted with the paddle. Add remaining ¼ cup buffalo sauce to chicken and toss well; set aside.
- 20 minutes before serving, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Stir chicken and pasta into slow cooker. Serve garnished with cilantro, if desired.
To Freeze
- Add chicken, broth, ¼ cup buffalo sauce, seasonings and both cheeses to large zip top freezer bag. Freeze.
To Cook After Freezing (Slow Cooker)
- Add frozen meal to slow cooker. Cook on high 6 hours or low 10 hours. Remove chicken; shred with two forks or in stand mixer fitted with the paddle. Add remaining ¼ cup buffalo sauce to chicken and toss well; set aside.
- 20 minutes before serving, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Stir chicken and pasta into slow cooker. Serve garnished with cilantro, if desired.
