There are never enough healthy smoothie recipes in the world, so here is one more. I won’t judge you if you pour yourself this clean eating tropical smoothie, put an umbrella in it, and put your feet up, while imagining you have your toes in the sand on some beachy paradise somewhere. I won’t even judge you if you put alcohol in it (just know alcohol will make it yellow tier). This healthy tropical smoothie has the power to transport you, if only in your mind, to a tropical island.
While it’s perfect for breakfast, it’s also ideal for a mid-afternoon snack, right when the sun is beating down and you don’t think you can stand the heat one minute longer. BOOM. Enter the Tropical Smoothie, and your worries disappear.

Alcohol aside, this clean eating tropical smoothie is kid-friendly. Want to make it even kid-friendlier? Omit the ice and make as directed. Pour the smoothie “batter” into popsicle molds. Freeze until firm. Let the kids have a popsicle anytime they want to, because YOU know it’s healthy, and they won’t care because it’s that good. Popsicle for breakfast? Sure, honey, go ahead. After school snack? Yep! All yours. Dessert? Of course! Help yourself. (Not for nothing, but if you or your spouse craves late-night sweets or after-dinner pick-me-ups, smoothie pops totally work for adults too.)
