Ok. Admittedly, it’s a bold title. The Perfect Steak. Maybe even a little bit arrogant. Maybe a little bit deserved. (Just saying.)
Ingredients
- 3 lbs flank steak
- 1/2 cup Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/4 cup Bragg Liquid Aminos
- 3 Tbsp bottled minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce see notes
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 Tbsp juice from jalapeno jar
Instructions
To cook immediately
- Combine all ingredients in a glass dish or large zip top plastic bag. (nothing metal)
- Let marinate 1 hour or up to 8 hours. (No longer than 8 hours.)
- Preheat grill to medium heat. Grill steak 4 minutes per side or until it's cooked to desired doneness. Let rest 5 minutes before slicing. Slice into thin slices against the grain.
To freeze
- Combine all ingredients in a large zip top plastic freezer bag. Freeze.
To cook after freezing
- Let steak thaw completely in refrigerator. (About 24 hours.) Preheat grill over medium heat. Grill steak 4 minutes per side or until it's cooked to desired doneness. Let rest 5 minutes before slicing. Slice into thin slices against the grain.
