You’ll be surprised how easy it is to use your grill to cook a whole chicken. This easy grilled whole chicken recipe will show you how.
You could make this with roasted root veggies like we did on this recipe. Or, it could go with any sides you want!
Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp kosher salt
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- Rinse chicken inside and out. Pat dry with paper towels. Place chicken in a foil roasting pan. Sprinkle with 2 tsp. kosher salt and 1 tsp. black pepper.
- Place on center of grill. Turn center burners off (if you have 3 or more burners). Reduce outer burners to medium low. Close grill. Grill 15 minutes per pound.
