Beef tacos are a staple in our house. My husband goes into withdrawals if I don’t make them regularly, but these simple beef tacos make it easy and healthy.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef 90% lean or leaner
- 2 Tbsp Chili Powder
- 2 Tbsp cumin
- 3/4 tsp garlic powder
- 3/4 tsp onion powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 12 corn tortilla
- 2 cups cheddar cheese grated
- 1 head romaine lettuce shredded
- 2 tomato medium, diced
- salsa optional
- avocado diced, optional
- cilantro chopped, optional
- sour cream optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375. Heat beef in a large skillet, stirring to crumble. When beef is cooked, add next 8 ingredients. Add 1 c. water. Simmer 20 minutes. Assemble your tacos as you wish. I prefer tortilla + beef + cheese + lettuce + tomatoes + avocados.
