THE PERFECT DIP FOR SOFT PRETZELS. Try this healthy beer cheese dip with our soft pretzels. Don’t even try this with anything else. Like chips. Or veggies. And don’t try to pour it over pasta. Well, unless you like amazing food or something, that is.
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 Tbsp brown rice flour or whole wheat flour
- 1 cup beer or milk
- 1 cup cheddar cheese grated
- 1 tsp salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp pepper to taste
Instructions
- Melt butter. Add flour, and whisk until smooth. Slowly add beer. Whisk until smooth and bubbly. Stir in cheese, and stir until melted and smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste.

The family has been asking for a cheese sauce. I will have to try this.
Maybe it was because I used fresh milled whole wheat flour but we were not a fan.
