Beef that is greater than 10% fat is yellow tier. Ground beef is typically marked with its fat percentage on the label. Cuts of beef typically aren’t marked by fat percentage but you can tell the normal fat percentage of a cut by looking up the nutrition facts for 100g of that cut. If the fat is over 10g for a 100g total weight, then it’s yellow tier. See the green tier entry for beef for a list of some common green tier cuts.
